What Equipment To Use, What Not To Use & Why Not...

In this vast jungle of riding equipment, it's hard to find the way. Fashion dictates what dealers keep in stock, and that ranges from colour of bandages to the thickness of bits and new inventions of training aids. Why offer things nobody would buy? Tackshop owners have got to make a living.

Us buyers, we have to think of the horse first. Both in choosing a saddle, and what to use to get him to work right under saddle, and on the longe/longrein. Here is my take on tack as I see it out and about in 2005. Next year, I will probably have to update many new inventions in both saddles, bits and gadgets.
